The Silence dilemma

They say

“It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than open one’s

mouth and remove all doubt.”

But they also say

“The silent is never rememberd”

What i think is

“The worst thing one can do is not to try, to be aware of what one wants and not give in to it,

to spend years in silent hurt wondering if something could have materialized – and never knowing”

About MeMo

    I like this post!
Whether one decides to speak or stay silent, there is a risk taken. I think the damage is less if one stayed quiet.

yeah of course the damage is less if you still silent ,but on the other hand one might get lucky ..
but again if you keep silent you’ll never know what would’ve happened and will keep wondering for the rest of your life ..
and above all “the silent is never remembered ”
so what would it be ..
remembered as a fool or not remembered at all !?

i think that when u have something worth saying, u say it… being remembered is relative and i think a bit overrated, depending on who remembers you and what you are remembered of, no?

  6. Xero

yet again who decides what worth saying ?
it’s relative and dramatically change from one to another ?
who remembers ? the ppl i spend time with and want them to remember.
and by remembered i mean to be SEEN and stick in he head even for a short time .

well, u should decide what is important… u speak to get your point out there 3ashanak enta, not necessarily to be heard

and you know, coming to think of it, some people are remembered by their silence… silence leeh heeba keda 🙂
